The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that motorists traveling northbound on I-95 seeking to access Airport Road will encounter nightly detours for permanent beam replacement at the overpass. Westbound Max Leggett Parkway drivers traveling to westbound Airport Road will also be impacted by the closures.

The previously scheduled work was rescheduled due to weather conditions.

The overpass was damaged by an over-height commercial vehicle on August 27 and requires a beam replacement.

The northbound I-95 ramp to Airport Road will be detoured from 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Friday, October 18 and again, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19.

Nightly detours of the ramp will occur from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday, October 20 through Friday, November 1.

Motorists will be detoured to Pecan Park Road and return to Airport Road via southbound I-95. Detour signage and law enforcement will be onsite throughout the duration of the repair.
