The Virginia Department of Transportation reports that drivers should anticipate daytime and overnight lane closures on Interstate 95 in the Fredericksburg area with Improve 95 program construction in full swing.
Multiple work zones are scheduled on I-95 northbound and southbound this week, including double lane closures in Stafford County between Exit 133 (Route 17) and Exit 136 (Centreport Parkway) to patch potholes.
Weather permitting, the following lane closures are scheduled through early Saturday, April 24:

- 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Single lane closure
- 9 p.m. – 4:30 a.m. – Single lane closure

- 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. – Mobile operation for line striping
- Exit 143 (Route 610) Garrisonville Road Entrance & Exit Ramps
- 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. – Mobile operation for line striping
