The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) reports the following road and lane closure notices for the I-95 North Viaduct project in Providence, effective for the week of March 2-8, 2024. All schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change.
- I-95 North motorists are using a new traffic pattern after the Downtown exit and near Providence Place Mall with a newly relocated Exit 38, about one mile south of its former location. RIDOT has posted numerous signs to clearly guide motorists to their destinations.
- I-95 North at Exit 37 B, C, D interchange, right exit closed for guardrail installation, Sunday – Thursday nights, from 11:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Follow signed detour.
