Temporary Ramp Closures on I-95 in Delaware. Expect Delays

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that inspections of the recently completed Restore the Corridor construction will require temporary short-term ramp closures for I-95 on and off ramps next week. All ramp closures will occur between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Monday, January 23rd: I-95 NB on and off ramps, starting at the Exit 6 Maryland Avenue/MLK Boulevard off ramp and proceeding north to MLK Boulevard on-ramps, Delaware Avenue off- ramp, Adams Street/10th Street on-ramp, Delaware Avenue on-ramp and slip ramp, and US Route 202 off-ramp. One ramp will be closed at a time.

Thursday, January 26th: I-95 SB on and off ramp starting at Exit 7A & B Delaware Avenue, the Jackson Street on-ramp, Exit 6 4th Street/MLK Boulevard off-ramp. Again, one ramp at a time will be closed.

This work is weather dependent. Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays moving through the area.
