The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has deployed additional motorist assistance crews (SHEP) to I-95.

These crews will assist with the expected evacuees from Florida traveling north to avoid Hurricane Dorian impacts. The South Carolina Department of Transportation urges all motorists to drive with extra caution as an increased number of holiday travelers and evacuees are expected on I-95.
