The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) is working on improving the I-95 Exit 2 bridge in North Hampton. This project is part of the ongoing effort to make our roads safer and more efficient.
When It’s Happening
From October 22 to October 26, 2023, there will be some nighttime work. Here are the details:
- Sunday, October 22, 2023: The off ramp will be closed from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am.
- Monday, October 23, 2023: The off ramp will be closed from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am.
- Thursday, October 26, 2023: Both the on and off ramps will be closed from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am.
What to Expect
During this time, construction crews will be busy. They will be replacing guardrails and making final improvements to the bridge. These changes are essential for your safety and for the longevity of the bridge.
How to Get Around
There will be detour signs to help you navigate. Please pay attention to these signs and follow them. This will ensure that you can still get where you need to go without too much hassle.

Project Details
This project is part of the North Hampton 42979 project. The project has a budget of $4.9 million and is expected to be finished in November 2023.
