The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an Eversource utility project on Interstate 95 southbound in Greenwich at the Exit 4 Off-Ramp, will occur nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, through Friday morning, February 7, 2020. During the work hours, motorists can expect the Interstate 95 southbound Exit 4 off-ramp to be closed.
Motorists will be detoured to Exit 3 southbound to Arch Street, where they can exit and get back on Interstate 95 northbound, then follow Interstate 95 northbound to Exit 4, Indian Field Road.
The project consists installing a conduit bank across the Interstate 95 Exit 4 Southbound ramp.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
