The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reports that there are intermittent lane closures scheduled on northbound Interstate 95 between New Falls Road and the Yardley Newtown Interchange on Monday, September 18, through Friday, September 22, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, for construction activities as part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of Interstate 95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County.
In addition, intermittent lane closures are scheduled on U.S. 1 between the Woodbourne and Oxford Valley Road interchanges on Monday, September 18, through Friday, September 22, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, for bridge joint repairs.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 and U.S. 1 in the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
