The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will have multiple overnight closures and detours throughout the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project starting Sunday, January 7 at 10:00 p.m. for overhead sign operations and roadway construction, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Closures on the following roads Sunday, January 7 through Thursday, January 11 from 10:00 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
I-95 southbound to close:
Drivers will detour to Airport Road to U.S. 17 and take I-295 westbound to reconnect to I-95 southbound.
I-295 eastbound ramp (exit ramp) to I-95 northbound to close:
Drivers will detour via I-295 eastbound to U.S. 17 and Airport Road to reconnect to I-95 northbound.
I-295 eastbound collector distributor to close:
Drivers will detour to I-95 southbound to Busch Drive and take I-95 northbound to reconnect with I-295.
This work is part of a new phase of construction on the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project. The interchange upgrades are part of an important effort to promote economic growth and development in the region.
