Nash County, Near Rocky Mount
- I-95, Mile Marker 138 , Heading South. Near US-64
- The road is closed at Exit 138, US-64 due to flooding in multiple locations from Hurricane Florence.
- I-95 Southbound traffic from Virginia should use US-64 West (Exit 138) to I-540 West to I-40 West to US-321 South to I-85 South. Follow directions in South Carolina to re-access I-95.
Cumberland County, Near Fayetteville
- I-95, Mile Marker 46 to 56.0, Both Directions. Near NC-87
- I-95 is closed between Exit 46 (NC-87) and Exit 56 (I-95 Business) due to flooding.
Cumberland County, Near Fayetteville
- I-95, Mile Marker 56 to 13.0, Both Directions
- Both North and South Bound lanes of I-95 from MP 56 to MP 13 are closed due to high water impacts from Hurricane Florence.
Robeson County, Near SC State Line
- I-95, Mile Marker 56 to 13.0, Both Directions. Near I-74
- The road is impassable between Exits 13(I-74) and Exit 56 (I-95 Business/US-301).
Cumberland County, Near Falcon
- I-95, Mile Marker 65 to 81.0, Both Directions. Near NC-82
- I-95 North is closed between Exit 65, NC-82 and Exit 81, I-40 due to flooding related to Hurricane Florence.
Harnett County, East of Dunn
- I-95, Mile Marker 81 to 65.0, Both Directions. Near US-421
- Detour: Take Exit 81-A for I-40 West. Continue on I-40 West until reaching Exit 123-A (US-321 South) in Hickory, NC. Continue on US-321 South and turn right onto I-85 South in Gastonia, NC. Continue on I-85 South to enter South Carolina.
- Alt Route: Take Exit 138-B for US-64 West. Take US-64 West until reaching I-440 and take Exit 423 for I-540 West. Take I-540 West for 26 miles until reaching Exit 1. Take Exit 1 for I-40 West. Continue on I-40 West for 160 miles until reaching Exit 123, US-321, near Hickory. Take Exit 123-A for US-321 South. Continue on US-321 South until reaching I-85 at Gastonia. Take I-85 South to Spartanburg, South Carolina.
