North Carolina Detour | I-95 Exit Guide

As the North Carolina DOT continues to respond to the effects of Hurricane Matthew, portions of I-95 remain closed northbound and southbound between Dunn and Fayetteville and in Lumberton. Rather than trying to detour on highways in flood areas, it has been suggested that I-95 thru travelers detour through Charlotte and Columbia on interstates 85, 77 and 26.

A second option may be to take U.S. 64 from Rocky Mount to Raleigh, North Carolina, then U.S. Route 1 from Raleigh to Southern Pines, North Carolina and then U.S. Route 501 from Southern Pines to the South Carolina state line.
