The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that I-95 Exit 3 will be closed for the placement of temporary concrete barrier walls and striping.
Times and Dates: 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (Each Night) starting on Monday, March 15 through Wednesday, March 17, 2021, pending weather.
Location: Exit 3/I-95 southbound to Route 273 eastbound/westbound, Christiana.
Detour Route: Motorists will be diverted off of I-95 southbound to Route 1 southbound onto Route 273. Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
Project Information: Relocate the I-95 southbound ramp to Route 273 westbound and provide a signalized intersection to improve safety for motorists.
