Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will implement nightly alternating single and double-lane closures in both directions of I-95 between Chamberlayne Avenue (mile marker 81) and the I-295 Exit (mile marker 85) from 9:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m., as crews begin demolition and removal of the Scott Road Overpass Bridge.
The project will begin Monday, February 26, and is scheduled to be completed in March 2024.
