New Traffic Patterns for I-95/Marsh Road Exit in Delaware Begin Next Week

The Delaware Department of Transportation reports that, as part of the next phase of work on the I-95/Marsh Road Interchange Project, a new traffic pattern along Marsh Road will begin Saturday, September 19, 2020, weather pending.

Location: Marsh Road at the I-95 and Carr Road Intersection, Wilmington. The current contraflow pattern will be removed and one lane will be reopened in each direction on Marsh Road. Left turns off of Marsh Road will remain restricted while the median is constructed; motorists are to follow the posted detours. The second lane of Marsh Road will remain CLOSED in each direction for the remainder of the project.

Exit 9 from I-95 Southbound to Marsh Road is expected reopen on or about Saturday, October 10, 2020. The signal at I-95 and Marsh Road will also be activated with the ramp opening.
