New Traffic Pattern Starts Saturday at the I-95/I-295 North Interchange

As part of bridge construction operations, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is planning multiple detours throughout the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project starting Friday, December 8 and Saturday, December 9 from 10:00 p.m. to midnight while crews implement a new traffic pattern for I-295 westbound, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.

FDOT advises drivers to be cautious approaching the interchange and be prepared for the new traffic pattern with traffic utilizing the newly constructed I-295 westbound lanes.

I-295 westbound ramp to I-95 southbound closed:
The exit ramp from I-295 westbound to I-95 southbound will close beginning at 10:00 p.m., Friday, December 8 and continue through midnight Saturday, December 9. Drivers will detour to U.S. 17, south on U.S. 17, and east on Busch Drive to connect with I-95 south.

I-295 westbound ramp to I-95 northbound closed:
The exit ramp from I-295 westbound to I-95 northbound will close Friday, December 8 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers will detour to U.S. 17 and Airport Road to reconnect to I-95 northbound.

I-295 eastbound ramp to I-95 northbound closed:
The exit ramp from I-295 eastbound to I-95 northbound will close Friday, December 8 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers will detour via I-295 eastbound, U.S. 17 and Airport Road to reconnect to I-95 northbound.

U.S. 17 ramp to I-295 westbound closed:
The entrance ramp from U.S. 17 to I-295 westbound will close Friday, December 8 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers will detour to the I-295 eastbound ramp, exit at Pulaski Road and take the westbound ramp to I-295.
