Multiple Maine Turnpike Locations Scheduled for Closures

Next week during the overnight hours, the Maine Turnpike Authority will be doing bridge repairs and paving at various locations. The schedule is as follows:

Congress Street Bridge, Portland – On Monday, November 4, 2019, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, the section of Congress Street between Johnson Road and Skyway Drive will be closed.

Westbrook Street Bridge, Portland – On Monday, November 4 and Tuesday, November 5, 2019, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, Westbrook Street will be a down to a single lane of traffic in the vicinity of the bridge. Traffic will be alternated through the work zone with the use of a flagger both nights.

Falmouth Spur (Exit 52), Falmouth – On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, the southbound entering ramp of the Falmouth Spur will be closed for pavement repairs. This will affect motorists traveling westbound coming from the Falmouth Spur who want to go south on the Turnpike. During the ramp closure, motorists seeking to head southbound on the mainline will need to head north to Exit 53 to reverse direction – or find an alternate route.

Holmes Road Bridge, Scarborough – On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, the section of Holmes Road between Payne Road and Two Rod Road will be closed.
