I-95 construction will result in multiple lane closures, northbound and southbound, between Cardinal Drive and the Dale City cars-only rest area Monday, March 6 through Thursday, March 9 for inspection of the bridges over Neabsco Creek, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The closures will occur as follows:
- Monday, March 6: Southbound right lane closed between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.; northbound two right lanes between 10 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., then southbound two right lanes between 1:30 and 4:30 a.m.
- Tuesday, March 7: Northbound left lane closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 8: Southbound right lane closed between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- Thursday, March 9: Northbound left lane closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes. The I-95 Express Lanes will not be impacted by this work.
