The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) reports the following traffic impacts for I-95 in the Fredericksburg area through Saturday, September 14, 2024. All Work is weather dependent and subject to change.
I-95 Northbound and Southbound
Exit 98 (Doswell) to Exit 136 (Centreport Parkway)
Monday – Saturday, 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. Varying double lane closures for pothole repairs at mile markers 101-136.
Exit 140 (Courthouse Road) to Exit 136 (Centreport Parkway)
Monday – Thursday, 9:00 p.m. – 4:30 a.m. Varying single and double lane closures for bridge maintenance at mile marker 137, at the Potomac Creek bridge. Single lane closure begins at 9:00 p.m. followed by a double lane closure starting at 10:00 p.m.
Exit 148 (Quantico) to Exit 143 (Aquia/Garrisonville)
Monday – Thursday, 9:00 p.m. – 4:30 a.m. Varying single and double lane closures for bridge maintenance at mile marker 145, at the Aquia Creek Bridge. Single lane closure begins at 9:00 p.m. followed by a double lane closure starting at 10:00 p.m.
I-95 Southbound
Exit 126 (Spotsylvania) Off Ramp
Monday – Friday, 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m. Alternating lane closures for ramp realignment between Route 1 and Southpoint Parkway.
