The Maine Department of Transportation reports that I-95 paving (Maine Turnpike) will be “substantially completed” by September 23, 2016.
The construction project consists of pavement rehabilitation of the two 12-foot wide lanes and shoulders from mile 54.5 to mile 64.4.
The project also consists of milling and filling and overlaying the four ramps at Exit 63. The work also involves earthwork, bridge repairs, snow fence installation, drainage, guardrail, pavement markings, and
maintenance of traffic.
