The Maine Department of Transportation is working to improve parts of I-195 in Saco. The work is focused between the I-195 tollbooths and Exit 2B. Crews are replacing the surfaces of the two bridges over Route 1 and the two bridges over Industrial Park Road.
Motorists should expect lane shifts during the construction. Crews will also be working underneath the bridges at night. The night work may require alternating traffic patterns.
Gordon Contracting of Sangerville is doing the work, which is expected to be finished by June 27th.
