The Delaware Department of Transportation reports that crews will be inspecting the deck of bridges on Northbound I-95 over the next two weeks.
The Northbound I-95 bridges over I-295 will have restrictions on Wednesday, April 27th, Thursday, April 28th with the left shoulder and two left lanes closed. All Lane restrictions will be in place from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am.
On Thursday, May 5th and Friday, May 6th the right shoulder and three right lanes will be closed. All lane restrictions will be in place from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am.
Northbound on Monday, May 2nd and Southbound on Tuesday, May 3rd, the I-95 bridge over the Christina River, just south of Route 141, will have restrictions with the left shoulder and two left lanes closed both nights. All lane restrictions will be in place from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am.
On Monday, May 9th crews will be working on the NB side and on Tuesday, May 10th, the SB side, with the right shoulder and three right lanes closed. Again, all lane restrictions will be in place from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am.
Motorists can expect minor delays while the lane restrictions are in place.
All inspections are dependent on the weather. If needed, Wednesday, May 11th and Thursday, May 12th will be used as make up days.
