Lane Restrictions, Delays for I-95 Work Between Fairfield and Augusta

I-95 travelers passing through Maine next week should be aware of construction work that my impact their trip.

The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) will be making pavement improvements on parts of I-95 Southbound in Augusta, Benton, Fairfield, Sidney, & Waterville.

The project area begins at mile marker 134 and extends south to mile marker 112. The project will perform paving, update guardrail, and improve drainage.

Work is scheduled to begin on Sunday, May 4th and be completed in the fall of this year. This project will involve night work occurring between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday to Saturday. Drivers should expect a single-lane width reduction during this time.

All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
