The Delaware Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin the closure of two left lanes on I-95 northbound between Exit 5 and SR 141 northbound interchange at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13 until 5 a.m. on Thursday, September 14.
In addition, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13 until 5 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, Exit 3A/SR 141 southbound ramp to I-95 northbound will be closed. Motorists traveling on SR 141 southbound will follow detour signage to US 13 north to I-295 to I-95 northbound. These closures are necessary for road construction.
On Friday, September 15 at 9 a.m., Exit 3A/SR 141 northbound to I-95 northbound will be open to traffic. There will be a new traffic pattern on SR 141 northbound with two right lanes of traffic shifted from the old bridge to the new bridge structure. The opening of the Exit may be delayed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
