The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with Interstate 95 construction at the Davie Boulevard Interchange Safety Improvement Project in Broward County.
Project improvements will include upgrading the existing signalization and lighting along Davie Boulevard and at the I-95 northbound entrance ramp and the northbound and southbound exit ramps. Other improvements include new I-95 overhead signs and milling and resurfacing on Davie Boulevard just west and east of the I-95 Interchange and the northbound and southbound I-95 exit ramps.
Traffic Impacts:
- One lane in each direction will be closed along Davie Boulevard at the I-95 Interchange, 8:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday, for the installation of the temporary barrier wall on the interchange.
- I-95 northbound and southbound off ramps onto Davie Boulevard will be closed, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday, for the installation of the temporary barrier wall on the interchange.
Final completion of this I-95 construction project is scheduled for the fall of 2020.
