The Delaware Department of Transportation announces to motorists that there will be lanes closed with a shifting of traffic on I-95 northbound to I-295 northbound and the closure of the ramps for the removal of protective wooden shield under the bridge and walkway.
Closures are scheduled for 8:00 PM until 5:00 AM on Sunday, October 28, 2018 through Thursday, November 1, 2018.
Work will take place on I-95 Northbound to I-295 Northbound between Exit 5 and past SR 141 Northbound Interchange AND Closure of Exit 3A/SR 141 Southbound and Northbound to I-95 Northbound.
In the event of inclement weather, the lane and ramp closures will occur at 9:00 PM on Friday, November 2, 2018 until 8:00 AM on Saturday, November 3, 2018.
Detour: Motorists traveling on SR 141 southbound will follow detour signs to westbound Commons Boulevard, right onto Churchmans Road, enter onto SR 1 southbound and merge to I-95 northbound.
Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
