The Delaware Department of Transportation reports that I-95 construction in Newark will require nighttime lane closures.
DelDOT’s contractor will be milling and paving on I-95 northbound. There will be intermittent lane and shoulder closures on I-95 northbound.
Work will be on I-95 northbound between the southern end of I-95 Welcome Center and Exit 4/I-95 and SR 1 Interchange.
Closures will occur from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. Sunday evening through Friday morning. From Sunday, June 18 until late-July, pending weather.
Motorists should be aware that construction personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to the travel lanes and anticipate lane shifts.
