The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reports that intermittent lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound Interstate 95 next week between New Falls Road and the Yardley Newtown Interchange as part of an I-95 construction project to repair and resurface 13 miles of Interstate 95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County.
The I-95 construction work schedule is:
- Monday, October 2, through Friday, October 6, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, intermittent lane closures are schedule on northbound I-95; and
- Monday, October 2, through Friday, October 6, from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, intermittent lane closures are schedule on southbound I-95.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 in the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
