The New Hampshire Department of Transportation reports that work has begun on I-95 southbound from Greenland to Portsmouth and is scheduled to be completed between the hours of 8:00 pm and 5:00 am. The construction crews will be working through Thursday night, and will require the use of lane closures. Some minor daytime work that doesn’t affect traffic may be performed. Message boards will be in place to notify the traveling public. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.
All work is weather dependent. Based on the current schedule, the work will be performed throughout this summer, on both northbound and southbound lanes, and will be completed by June 24, 2022.
This work is part of a $8.62 million Turnpike Resurfacing Program. The general contractor is Brox Industries, Inc of Dracut, Massachusetts.
