The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 North in Stamford, through Friday, November 22, 2019.
The project consists of concrete deck repairs on the I-95 bridge over Metro-North railroad tracks in Stamford.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2019 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs being performed by Hammonasset Construction.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 Northbound between Exit 8 (Canal Street) and Exit 9 (Rte. 1/Glenbrook) in Stamford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Wednesday evening through Friday morning)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
