The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces planned work associated with the I-95 bridge replacement spanning the Taylor River in Hampton/Hampton Falls.

Weather permitting, traffic patterns on I-95 northbound will be altered beginning on the night of Sunday, July 31. The current four lanes from Mile Marker 3.0 to Mile Marker 4.0 will be temporarily split with the right two lanes directed from the median diversion easterly onto the new bridge and the left two lanes remaining in the median. In approximately one week, the remaining left two lanes will be directed onto the new bridge. Access to the NH State Liquor Store will be maintained at all times during the store’s normal business hours.

Motorists traveling through the work zone on the night of July 31 should anticipate lane closures from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am. Uniformed officers and variable message signs will help guide motorists through the work zone.
