The right lane is scheduled to close on the northbound deck of the Interstate 95 Girard Point Bridge in Philadelphia, on Saturday, August 19, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for bridge inspection, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on northbound I-95 in the work area because backups and delays will occur. The scheduled work is weather dependent.
The inspection is part of PennDOT’s program to inspect bridges at least once every two years to ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
