The Florida Department of Transportation reports that three Central Florida I-95 projects will impact Pre-Thanksgiving holiday traffic early this week. These include the following:
I-95 Interchange at Ellis Road
- Monday-Tuesday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Northbound and Southbound I-95 single lane closures for construction of new interchange.
- Monday-Tuesday, 9:30 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. Northbound and Southbound I-95 single and double lane closures.
- Monday- Tuesday, 7:00 a.m. – 3 p.m., single lane closures Northbound and Southbound I-95 just south of S.R. 528/Beachline Expressway.
- Monday – Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m., double lane closures Northbound and Southbound I-95 just south of S.R. 528/Beachline Expressway.
I-95 Resurfacing from Old Dixie Highway to the St. Johns County line
- Monday – Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Northbound and Southbound I-95, double and single lane closures north of Palm Coast Parkway to the St. Johns County line.
- Monday – Tuesday, 9:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., Northboundand Southbound I-95 double and single lane closures north of Palm Coast Parkway to the St. Johns County line.
Widening from S.R. 44 to north of S.R. 600 (U.S. 92)
- Closure of Northbound I-95 Collector Distributor Road, Monday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., which affects the following ramps:
- Northbound I-95 off ramps to Eastbound S.R. 400 (Beville Road),
- Westbound I-4, U.S. 92 (ISB) and the S.R. 400 (Beville Road) on ramp to Northbound I-95.
- Traffic from Northbound I-95 heading to Eastbound S.R. 400 (Beville Road) will be directed to exit onto S.R. 421 (Taylor Road) and take Northbound Williamson Boulevard to Eastbound S.R. 400 (Beville Road).
- Traffic from Northbound I-95 heading to Westbound I-4 will be directed to exit onto S.R. 421 (Taylor Road) and take Northbound Williamson Boulevard to WB S.R. 400 (Beville Road) to access Westbound I-4.
- Traffic from Northbound I-95 heading to U.S. 92 (ISB) will be directed to exit onto S.R. 421 (Taylor Road) and take Northbound Williamson Boulevard to access U.S. 92 (ISB).
- Traffic from Westbound S.R. 400 (Beville Road) will be directed to take Northbound Williamson Boulevard to U.S. 92 (ISB) to access Northbound I-95.
All work is weather-permitting and schedules may change. Electronic message boards are used to update travelers.
