The Delaware Department of Transportation’s (DelDOT) contractor will be closing lanes on I-95 Northbound between the Newark Toll Plaza and SR 72 for pothole repairs. The Route 896 southbound ramp to I-95 northbound will also be closed.
From 9:00 PM on Friday, December 7, 2018 until 5:00 AM on Monday, December 10, 2018, pending weather, the I-95 Northbound lanes will be closed (At all times, one lane will remain OPEN to traffic).
Motorists should be aware that construction personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to the travel lanes and anticipate lane shifts.

Detour Route: Route 896 southbound to US 40 eastbound onto SR 1 northbound to I-95 northbound.
Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
