The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is asking I-95 motorists to please follow signed detours as they close various ramps within the I-95/Exit 37 interchange overnight for steel placement, Sunday – Thursday nights from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
During the same time period, I-95 motorists should anticipate alternating lane closures on both directions of I-95, from Exits 37A (Atwells Ave./Broadway) to 39A (Branch Ave.), for steel placement and demolition of the old Route 146 bridge.
All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
