The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) reports that I-95 traffic will be detoured as it will continue work to rehabilitate the I-95 Exit 2 bridge in North Hampton on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, and Thursday, April 6, 2023. The work will require the northbound Exit 2 on ramp to be closed temporarily at night from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am.

Weather permitting, construction crews will close the ramp in order to shift traffic over the bridge onto the northern half of the bridge. This will make room for crews to start replacing the deck on the southern half of the bridge.

Detour signing will be in place to direct motorists around the closure. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the North Hampton 42979 project. New England Infrastructure, Inc. of Hudson, Massachusetts is the prime contractor for the $4.9 million project, which is scheduled to be completed in November 2023.
