Ladysmith Virginia I-95 Rest Area | I95 Exit Guide

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) reports that the I-95 Southbound Ladysmith Safety Rest Area in Caroline County will close overnight for two evenings during the upcoming week for milling and paving of the off-ramp to enter the rest area.

The Southbound Ladysmith Safety Rest Area will be closed:

  • 9:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, October 16
  • 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 17 to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 18

The temporary closure is required so crews can safely maneuver equipment and materials along the off-ramp to resurface it and smooth the travel surface.

The I-95 Southbound Ladysmith Rest Area and Welcome Center is located at mile marker 107, south of exit 110 (Ladysmith).

Message boards along I-95 southbound in advance of the rest area will alert travelers to the upcoming closure dates and times.
