I-95 Ramp Closure, Detour in Connecticut Begins Saturday, October 12

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled 24-hour closure of the I-95 southbound on-ramp from Route 349 northbound (Exit 3B) in Groton for paving operations.

The closure will begin at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 10, 2020, with the ramp to be fully open to traffic no later than 7:00 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2020.

Please follow the signed detour from Route 349 to I-95 northbound accessing Exit 88 (Route 177). Proceed left at the bottom of off-ramp and take first right onto the ramp to I-95 southbound.

Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity and avoid the area if possible.
