The Delaware Department of Transportation announces to motorists that Ramp F/I-95 Southbound Entrance Ramp off Martin Luther King Boulevard will be closed at night. The nighttime closure hours will be from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. each night, pending weather, starting on January 14, 2021 through January 29, 2021, except on Saturday evenings.
The nighttime closure is necessary for the installation of a temporary barrier and protective shielding for the viaduct. This work is being performed in preparation for the main traffic switch for the viaduct.
Detour Information:
From Martin Luther King Boulevard westbound: Motorists will be diverted onto I-95 northbound onto Exit 7/Delaware Avenue. From the exit, motorists will make a left onto Route 52/Delaware Avenue and turn right onto North Van Buren Street and following signs for I-95 Southbound. Motorists will turn right onto Gilpin Avenue and then turn right onto North Jackson Street. From North Jackson Street motorists will take the Exit Ramp to I-95 Southbound.
Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
