The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) reports that travelers should expect various ramps to be closed along I-95 North at the Exit 37 interchange for barrier construction.
Closures are scheduled to occur Sunday thru Thursday nights from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should also anticipate the overnight closure of Providence Place, from Harris Avenue to Park Street, for demolition of the old on-ramp from Memorial Boulevard to I-95 North, from Sunday thru Thursday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Follow signed detours.
Barrier installation also will require alternating lane closures on I-95 North, from Exit 37 to Exit 39, and a left lane closure on I-95 South, from Exit 38 to Exit 37, from Sunday thru Thursday nights from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
