The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reports that Interstate 95 motorists will encounter lane closures at night next week in both directions between Race Street and Levick Street in Philadelphia for milling, paving and pavement marker installation.
The work schedule is:
- Sunday, October 14, through Saturday, October 20, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, northbound and southbound I-95 between Richmond Street and Levick Street; and
- Monday, October 15, through Friday, October 19, from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM, northbound and southbound I-95 between Shackamaxon Street and Race Street.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
