Overnight lane closures are scheduled next week on Interstate 95 in Delaware and Philadelphia counties for barrier repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced.
The work schedule is:
- Thursday, May 10, from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM the following morning, a right lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Ridley Park and Essington interchanges in Ridley and Tinicum townships, Delaware County; and
- Friday, May 11, from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM, a left lane closure is scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Cottman Avenue/Rhawn Street and Academy Road/Linden Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
