The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on I-95 in Branford starting on Tuesday, September 10 and be completed on Thursday, October 3, 2024. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.9-mile segment of I-95 in Branford from Exit 54 (Cedar Street) to the Guilford/Branford Town Line.

I-95 LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 northbound from 0.25 miles before the exit 54 (Cedar Street) off ramp to the Guilford/Branford Town Line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday night through Monday morning.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
