I-95 Lane Closures, Delays for Work Between Exits 16 and 17 in Norwalk and Westport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing the milling of pavement on I-95 between Exits 16 and 17 in Norwalk and Westport from Sunday, May 19 through Sunday, June 9, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Lane closures will be in effect at night to facilitate the milling operation. Milling of the roadway is necessary to identify areas needing repairs in the underlying concrete pavement. I-95 will be paved after identifying the locations of repairs. Three lanes of traffic will be maintained on I-95 after a traffic shift. Traffic will be maintained on I-95 during the whole operation.

This $103,411,848 project is scheduled to be completed on November 26, 2024.
