As part of the Route 141, I-95 Interchange to Jay Drive Project, the Delaware Department of Transportation’s contractor will be closing Exit 3B/Route 141 northbound to I-95 southbound and Exit 5A/I-95 southbound to Route 141 southbound for drainage structure installation.
Dates and Times: 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, August 2 through Thursday, August 5 (Nighttime closure) pending weather and operational constraints.
Detour Routes:
Exit 3B/Route 141 Northbound to I-95 Southbound
For the closure Exit 3B: Motorists will take the ramp to Route 4 and continue straight onto Marshall Street, turn left onto westbound Route 4/Justis Street turn left onto James Street, turn left onto eastbound Route 4/Market Street and take the ramp to Route 141 southbound and take the ramp to I-95 southbound.
Exit 5A/I-95 Southbound to Route 141 Southbound
For the closure Exit 5A: Motorists on I-95 southbound will take the ramp to Route 141 northbound and take the ramp to Route 4 and continue straight onto Marshall Street. Turn left onto westbound Route 4/Justis Street and turn left onto James Street, turn left onto eastbound Route 4/Market Street and take the ramp to Route 141 southbound.
Variable message boards and detour signage will be posted for motorists.
