The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reports that southbound Interstate 95 motorists in Pennsylvania’s Bucks County will encounter a double lane closure between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Street Road (Route 132) interchanges on Tuesday, December 3, through Thursday, December 5, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for milling and paving under a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.
Under this $36.6 million project, PennDOT rehabilitated existing pavement; performed base repairs; installed new guide rail; repaired or replaced damaged traffic signs; performed minor bridge deck repairs; and installed rumble strips and delineators along the I-95/I-295 corridor. Major construction on this project was completed in late October.
