Southbound Interstate 95 motorists in Bucks County will encounter a double lane closure between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road interchanges in Bristol and Bensalem townships, Bucks County on Monday, October 7, through Friday, October 11, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for resurfacing operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on southbound I-95 in the work area because backups and delays are expected. All operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
The work is part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships. The entire project is expected to be completed later this fall.
