The Delaware Department of Transportation reports that they are scheduled to close several lanes on northbound I-95 for electrical and fiber optic conduit installation.
Lane closures will occur 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3 until 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4. The I-95 northbound lanes from the Salt Barn and pass the Bridge on SR 141 in Newport.
In the event of inclement weather, the I-95 construction lane closures will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4 until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5.
Motorists should be aware that construction personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to the travel lanes and anticipate lane shifts.
