The National Weather Service reports that tropical storm Henri remains on track to slam into southern New England Sunday morning and is expected to bring severe flooding, very high winds and historic power outages along its path.
The storms path has shifted to the east as it follows the route of I-95 through Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.
Tropical storm and surge warnings are in effect along the shoreline from Connecticit to Massachusetts. Tropical storm warnings are in effect for much of Southern New England and New York.
