The Rhode island Department of Transportation reports the following highway restrictions on I-95 thru September 16, 2016.
Temporary Exit Closure
Warwick: I-95 North at Exit 14 (Rte. 37), exit closed for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Follow signed detour.
Overnight Restrictions
- Cranston: I-95 South, from the Milford St. Bridge to Laurens St. Bridge, alternating two left lane and two right lane and shoulder closures for bridge work, Sunday-Tuesday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
- Cranston/Warwick: I-95 North and South, from Exit 16 (Rte. 10) to Exit 14 (Rte. 37), alternating two left lane and two right lane and shoulder closures for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
- Cranston/Warwick: I-95 North and South, from Exit 13 (Airport Connector) to Exit 16 (Rte. 10), alternating two left lane and two right lane and shoulder closures for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
- Exeter/Richmond: I-95 North, from Exit 4 (Rte. 3) to Exit 5 (Rte. 102), right shoulder closed for drainage work, Monday night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Please note: the right truck lane at the truck rest area will also be closed during this same time period.
- Hopkinton to Warwick: I-95 North and South and its ramps, from I-295 to the Connecticut state line, expect alternating lane closures in a moving operation for striping, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
