The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of an interchange improvement project on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and I-95, nightly lane closures and detours are scheduled from Monday, June 3 to Sunday, June 9 for paving and traffic switch repair operations. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
I-95 Southbound from MLK Eastbound Detour
The on-ramp to I-95 southbound from Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway eastbound will be closed nightly starting Monday, June 3 through Sunday, June 9 between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. for paving operations.
As a detour, drivers will take MLK eastbound to the Boulevard Street exit to the westbound MLK on-ramp, onto the I-95 southbound on- ramp.
I-95 Northbound and Exit Ramp 354B Detour
The I-95 northbound outside lane and exit ramp 354B will be closed from 8th Street to the MLK westbound exit ramp nightly starting Monday, June 3, through Sunday, June 9 between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. for paving operations.
As a detour, drivers will take I-95 northbound to the Golfair Boulevard exit to I-95 southbound to the eastbound MLK exit.
This $7.9 million interchange improvements project is scheduled to be completed by early 2027, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
